Wilma (nee:Tegtmeier) Kelley, 81, of St. Jacob, Ill., died Monday, October 17, 2005 at Faith Countryside Homes in Highland, Ill.
Mrs. Kelley was born January 27, 1924, in Maryville (Pleasant Ridge) to William and Augusta (nee:Langreder) Tegtmeier. On June 1, 1952 she married William R. Kelley and he preceded her in death on June 13, 1989.
Mrs. Kelley was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and had been secretary for Ladies Aid at the church. She also had been a volunteer for Meals on Wheels, Braille for the Blind, Helping Hands at St. Paul's Lutheran Church and KFUO Radio volunteer.
She is survived by three sons, William J. (Sabrina) Kelley of Barrington, Ill., Randall J. Kelley of Owatonna, Minn., and Ricky M. (Virginia) Kelley of Lindenhurst, Ill., three daughters, Roben (Eugene) Carter of Des Peres, Mo., Roxane (Daniel) Clatanoff of Omaha, Neb., and Renee (Jeff) Hobbs of New Baden, Ill., a brother, Bernet (Rose) Tegtmeier of Troy, Ill., a sister, Frances (William) Schanuel of Collinsville, Ill., and eleven grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, William Tegtmeier and a sister, Florence Hellmich.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2005 at Laughlin Funeral Home in Troy, Ill. The funeral service is at 10:30 a.m. Friday,October 21, 2005 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Troy with the Rev. Elmer J. Schwartzkopf officiating. Interment is at St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Maryville, Ill. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
