William Earl Wolfe, 90, of St. Jacob, IL born Wednesday, November 20, 1935, in Carlyle IL, and passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Highland, IL.
In William's early years he helped his parents start and run Wolfe Bow and Arrow in St. Louis, MO. He then went to work for the City of St. Louis as a police officer for several years. He joined Teamsters local 600 and drove a local delivery truck in St. Louis area until his retirement.
He married his beloved wife Patricia on February 15, 1958, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, St. Louis, MO. William had a passion for art, gardening and reading.
William was proceeded in death by his parents, William and Pearl (nee Washburn) Wolfe; his wife, Patricia Ann (nee Bradshaw) Wolfe; his son, William Terrance Wolfe and his grandson, Robert Dunaway Jr.
Surviving are his children, Cindy and Patrick Brendel of Weldon Springs, MO, Karen Wolfe, Charity Wolfe both of Highland, IL, Lisa and Alan Bucks of Grantfork, IL, Jack and Ann Wolfe of Collinsville, IL and Jill Cartier of Texas; his grandchildren, Eric Brendel of Weldon Springs, MO, Tiffany and Chris Duncan of Weldon Springs, MO, Amber Kutchinski of Freeland, MI, Benjamin and Mary Wolfe of Highland, IL, Isabella Burdick of Texas, Dakota bucks of Grantfork, IL, and Carolann and David Baker of Pontoon Beach, IL; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
