William A. Tarris, 76, of Troy, IL, born Saturday, November 30, 1946 in Granite City, IL and passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.

William attended St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, IL.  He retired from the Operating Engineers Local 513 St. Louis.  He loved his family and enjoyed traveling any time he could.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcel and Doris "Tootie" (nee Harris) Tarris; and his brother, Marcel "Butch" Tarris.

Surviving are his wife, DiAnne (nee Richardson) Tarris whom he married December 26, 1966 at Scared Heart Catholic Church in Granite City; his sons, Marcel E. and Aaron Tarris; grandchildren, Marcel A. and Jody Tarris; great-grandchild, Chevelle Tarris; his sister, Charlotte Vincent; nieces, nephews, cousin and many dear friends.
