William Lee Kilzer, 81 of Belleville, Illinois, born June 24, 1930 in Caseyville, Illinois died October 24, 2011 at Four Fountains in Belleville, Illinois.
Mr. Kilzer worked for Teamster Local 688 Brotherhood, was a member of Knights of Columbus.
William was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Golda (nee Baum) Kilzer.
Surviving are his wife, Amelia (nee Kovar) Kilzer; son, Alan (Karen) Kilzer of Troy, Illinois; step-son, Kevin (Toni) Link of Granite City, Illinois; daughter, April D. Kilzer of Belleville, Illinois; brothers, Robert (Sharon) Kilzer , Richard Kilzer of Belleville, Illinois and Donald Kilzer of Texas; grandchildren, Samantha, Emma and Mark Kilzer, Shawn and Joshua Link.
Memorials may be made to Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.
Friends may call 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, October 27, 2011 and 10 to 11 am Friday, October 28, 2011 at Laughlin~Richeson Funeral Home in Troy, Illinois.
Funeral services will be held 11 am on Friday, October 28 at the funeral home with Fr. Elmar officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks national Cemetery with full military honors.
