William E. Dearworth, 84, of Troy, Ill., born December 24, 1932 in Prairie Du Rocher, Ill., passed on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Liberty Village of Maryville, Ill.
Bill was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, Ill. He served his Country in the United States Navy from 1952 to 1956. Bill was a member of the American Legion Post 622 Prairie Du Rocher, Ill. He taught School in the Collinsville School District Unit 10. Bill enjoyed fishing, gardening and woodworking. He loved and was loved by his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Irene, nee DuFrenne, Dearworth; and a sister, Betty McHenry.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy, nee Shea, Dearworth of Troy, Ill.; children, Jackie (Randy) Rosamond of Loganville, Ga., Jan (Don) Kezely of Red Bud, Ill., Steven Dearworth of Anna, Ill. and Bill (Kay) Dearworth of Troy, Ill.; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Bob (Jane) Dearworth of Cabot, Ark.; sister, Judy (Ollie) Liefer of Carterville, Ill.; brother-in-law, Phil McHenry of Denver, Colo.; and family friend Fred Bloss of Marine, Ill.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. noon Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill., with Fr. Kevin Laughery officiating. Interment with full military honors will be held in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Prairie Du Rocher, Ill., with Fr. Daniel Jurek officiating.
