William Dennis Bettorf, Sr.'s Obituary
William D. Bettorf, Sr., age 70, passed away Monday, February 3, 2003 at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, Illinois.
Mr. Bettorf was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of Local 67 United Steelworkers of America.
He was preceded in death by his parents Orville and Opel, nee Dennis, Bettorf; his daughter-in-law Deborah Kay, nee Woodard, Bettorf; his brother, Glen Bettorf; and a sister Faye, who died in infancy.
He is survived by his wife Doris, nee Lockhart; three sons, William D. Bettorf Jr., Jeff (Lynn) Bettorf, and Tim Bettorf, all of Collinsville; a brother Robert (Judy) Bettorf of Glen Carbon; a sister-in-law, Joyce Bettorf; a sister, Ermel (Ernest) Hale of Granite City; and seven grandchildren Kelly, Shauna, Stacy, Ryan, Katie, Brooke and Avarey.
Visitation: 4:00 PM, Thursday, February 6, 2003, Laughlin Funeral Home
Funeral Service: 10:00 AM, Friday, February 7, 2003 at Laughlin Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment: Buck Road Cemetery, Maryville, Illinois
