William "Bingo" Bettorf Jr., 65, of Lebanon, IL, born September 23, 1953 in Granite City, IL, passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018 surrounded by his family at his home in Lebanon, IL.

Bill was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church, O'Fallon, IL. He was a member of the United Steel Workers of America, Local #50. Bingo loved being outdoors, especially when he was camping, fishing, boating or golfing. He loved playing golf in the B and B Golf League. He was happiest when he was with his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather. A special thanks to his caregivers at Siteman Cancer Center, Dr. Govindan and staff, Megan, Rachel, Renee and Ian and BJC Hospice, Linda, Lynn, Rachel and Chaplain Jason.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William D. Sr and Doris M. (nee Lockhart) Bettorf; his wife, Deborah K. (nee Woodward) Bettorf and a brother, Jeffery W. Bettorf.

Surviving are his wife, Whitney (nee Papproth) Bettorf of Lebanon, IL; children, Shauna Bettorf of O'Fallon, IL and Stacy (Ben) Hayden of Edwardsville, IL; bonus daughter, Maggie Papproth-Pauley of Lebanon, IL; step-children, Greg Wisnasky of Fairview Heights, IL, Courtney (Caleb) Marsh of Lebanon, IL, Elliott (Bre Dunsworth) Wisnasky of Trenton, IL; grandchildren, Jack and Lizzie Hayden, Ashton Brennan, Sophie Bettorf, Brooklyn, Brayden and Breanna Cardona, Enzo and Jonathon Marsh; brother, Timothy G. Bettorf of Glen Carbon, IL; mother-in-law, Babe Papproth; sister-in-law, Lynn M. Bettorf of Maryville, IL; uncle, cousin and friend to many.
