Warren  Haven  Westfall, 95 , of St. Jacob, Ill., born Sept. 20, 1921 in Watson, Ill., died Sunday,  Nov. 27, 2016 at Eden Village Care Center, Edwardsville, Ill.

Haven was a long time member of Troy, United Methodist Church, Troy, Ill., Nielson Odd Fellow Lodge #25 of Troy, IL and Lion's clubs of St. Jacob and Troy, Ill. He worked as a welder, excavator, auctioneer and farmer all of his life.  Haven attended school in Watson, Ill., and enjoyed playing boce ball.  He enjoyed the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Doris Westfall  and Mary Westfall; parents, John F. and Mabel, nee Sutton, Westfall; brothers, Clifford, Herschel, Carl, Leon and Leland Westfall; and sister, Evelyn Ring.

Surviving are his sons, Roger (Eileen) Westfall, Dale (Deb) Westfall and Dennis (Cindy) Westfall all of Troy, Ill.; step-children, Jim (Tammy) Closser, Phyllis Closser, Barb (Joe) Sandegren, Susan Zook, Lisa (Mike Karr) Barrett, and Gwen (Russell) Bridgman all of Iowa; grandchildren, Travis Westfall, Erin (T.C.) Roesch of Springfield, Ill., and Mindi Westfall of Denver Colo.; great-grandchildren, Roman and Remi Roesch; sister, Melba Faye Westfall Lister of Effingham, Ill., and numerous step-grand children, step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousin and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2016 at the church with Rev. Dennis Price officiating. Burial will be in Friedens Cemetery, Troy, Ill.
