Mr. Walter "Wally" Kueker , 79, of Troy, Ill., born April 8, 1928, in Troy, Ill., died Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at Highland Health Care, Highland, Ill.
Mr. Kueker was a machinist for Wagner Electric in St. Louis, Mo., for 32 years, for Emerson Electric in St. Louis, Mo.,for 10 years and for Wal Mart for 10 years. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Troy, Ill., where he was a member of the church choir, a past president of the PTL, and a past church trustee. Walter was also a member of the Troy Lions Club and a Boy Scouts of America volunteer. Walter was a U.S. Navy veteran.
Mr. Kueker was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Hulda Mae, nee Gieseking, Kueker, his daughter, Pamela Young-Ogden; three brothers, Wilbur, Harold and Arnold Kueker; and two sisters, Thelma Yurock and Marie Brendel.
Surviving Mr. Kueker are his wife, Thelma, nee Deterding, Kueker of Troy, Ill., whom he married October 21, 1950 in Collinsville, Ill., his son, Steven "Steve" Kueker of Troy, Ill., three grandchildren, Christopher David Young, Renee' Marie Young, and David Walter Kueker; and one great-grandchild, Sidney David Wallace.

Funeral Service will be held at 9:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Troy, Ill., with the Rev. James Gullen officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
