Obituary
Mr. Walter B. Craddock, age 83, of Collinsville, IL., died August 29, 2010 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.
Mr. Craddock was born in Hickman, KY. on November 11, 1926 and had been employed at Boeing/McDonnel Douglas as a Fireman/Supervisor. He was an Army veteran having served his country in WW II.
He was preceded in death by
his parents Walter B. and Anna L. (nee Carlton) Craddock, and half brothers, William Mike Johnson and William B. Craddock.
Surviving are his wife, Melba Craddock (nee Lynch), whom he married on March 28, 1948, of Collinsville, IL.; son, Phil Craddock of Troy, IL.; daughter, Debbie (Dave) Hommert of Marine, IL., and grandchildren, Charles W. Ray and Katie Craddock.
Memorials may be made to Church of Christ, 1400 Troy Road, Collinsville, IL. 62234.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 1, 2010 from 10:30 to 1 p.m. at Church of Christ, Collinsville, IL.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Church of Christ, Collinsville, IL. with clergy Terry Mabery, Bob McGuire, and Ray Hicks officiating.
Interment will be at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors.
