Vivi Acedo. 78, of Troy, IL, born Monday, July 20, 1942 in Hayden, AZ and passed away on December 3, 2020 in Edwardsville, IL.

Vivi has lived in Troy for the past 10 years.  She was the Homecoming Queen of Buckeye Union High School, Buckeye AZ and also State Champion Tennis Player.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Julia (nee Germain) Acedo; her brother,Steve Aced; and a brother-in-law, Reid Scudder.

Surviving are her former partner, Eugene Grimm of Redwood City, CA; children, Maya (Chris) Gierse of Troy, IL and Quetzal (Dena) Grimm of Redwood City, CA; grandsons, Mark (Aly) Baker, Andrew (Caitlin Kneemiller) Taylor, Cole (Isabelle Estep) Gierse, Dylan and Owen Grimm; great-grandchildren, Zoey Baker, Isaac Thornton, Dylan Kenworthy and Cameron Coleman; sisters, Marta (Maureen Linehan) Acedo, Yolanda Scudder; brothers, Frank Acedo and Gilbert (Nancy Siles) Acedo; 3 nieces and 7 nephews.
