Virginia Kay Isenberg, 75, of Troy, IL, born Sunday, September 21, 1947 in Marissa, AZ, and passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, June 24, 2023 surrounded by her family after a short battle with cancer.

Virginia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family.  She enjoyed cooking, canning, crafting and going to a good yard sale.

She was preceded in death by her son, John F. Isenberg; granddaughter, Destini Warner; parents, Clyde Kochersperger and Dorothy (nee Winter) Simpson; a sister, Barb White and her brother, Roger Kochersperger.

Surviving are her husband, Fred Isenberg of Troy, IL; children, Paul (Tina) Isenberg of De Soto, MO, Sherri (Chuck) Mumper of Mt. Olive, IL and Teresa (Chris Lenzini) Isenberg of Centralia, IL; grandchildren, Tiffany, Erica, Joseph, Steven, Tessa, Zack, Logan, Shawna, Amber and Megan; 11 great-grandchilden; her brother, Gene (Davia "Pepper") Kochersperger of Bellvue, MO; and her sister, Carol Johnson of Troy, IL; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Visitation for Virginia will be 5 to 7 pm on Wednesday, June 28 and 10 to 11 am on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL.

Funeral services will be held 11 am on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL with Rev. Dan Perry officiating.  Interment will be in Valley View Cemetery, Edwardsville, IL
