Viola Hillebrand, nee Howard, age 94, formerly of Troy, passed away Saturday morning, April 5, 2003 at Anna Henry Nursing Home in Edwardsville, Illinois. Mrs. Hillebrand was born November 29, 1908 in Jarvis Township, rural Troy, Illinois. She spent her entire life in the area, farming with her husband, Albert, who preceded her in death. She was a charter member of Bethel Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for several years. She is survived by her son Bud Hillebrand of Jerseyville, Illinois and several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert and a grandson, Robert "Little Bobby," three sisters and six brothers.

Visitation: Monday, April 7, 2003 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Laughlin Funeral Home.

Funeral Services: Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at Laughlin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Lewis officiating.

Interment: Friedens Cemetery, Troy, Illinois
