Victor W. Diepholz Jr. 70, of Troy, IL, born Sunday, April 13, 1952 in East St. Louis, IL and passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at his home in Troy, IL

Victor was a faithful member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, IL.  He worked as an Electrician and belonged to Local 309 Electrical Engineers in Collinsville, IL.  He and Kathleen enjoyed visiting National Parks, camping and hiking.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor W. Sr, and Margaret (nee Maly) Diepholz.

Surviving are his wife, Kathleen M. (nee Haas) Diepholz whom he married on August 2, 1980 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Trenton, IL; brother, Gary Diepholz; sisters, Janet (Gregory) Klaus of Troy, IL and Trudy (Sandy Klitzing) Diepholz of Champaign, IL; two nieces; six great-nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Visitation for Victor will be held 10 to 11 am on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, IL.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at St. Jerome Catholic Church with Fr. Kevin Laughery officiating.  Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Troy, IL.
