Obituary

Vance Lee Cooper, 36, of Troy, Ill., born July 1, 1969 in East St. Louis, Ill., died December 4, 2005.

Mr. Cooper was an Operating Engineer for Capcom Construction in Collinsville, Ill. He lived in Troy his entire life and was a member of St. Luke's Methodist Church in Maryville, Ill. Mr. Cooper was an avid Harley Davidson rider.

Mr. Cooper is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jewell and Lewis Cooper and his maternal grandparents, Harold and Matilda Richards.

Mr. Cooper is survived by his parents, James "Dan" and Laura (nee:Richards) Cooper of Troy, Ill., one brother, Scot Cooper of Collinsville, Ill., four aunts, Betty Gregory of Troy, Ill., Virginia Pinion of Paragoud, AR, Marilyn Wadlow of Ironton, MO, Martha Gerlach of Cahokia, Ill, one nephew, Cody James Cooper of Troy, Ill., and host of cousins.

VISITATION: Friends may call the Laughlin Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 6, 2005 from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M.

FUNERAL SERVICES:will be Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at 11 A.M. at the Laughlin Funeral Home "Chapel" with Rev. Richard Budwell officiating. Interment will be at Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill. Memorials are to be made to American Cancer Society.
