Tyler A. Johnson, 38, of Mount Olive, IL formerly of Troy, IL, born July 23, 1988, in Maryville, Il and passed suddenly on Friday October 2, 2026. in Livingston, IL.

Tyler was a member of Boiler Makers Union 363 Belleville, IL. He was a graduate of Triad High School Class of 2007, attended SWIC and Ranken Technical College in St. Louis, MO. Tyler loved his family and always enjoyed the times spent together.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ricky A. Johnson; grandparents, Jack and Norma Hanratty and Carl and Evelyn Johnson; his aunt, Nancy Brandmeyer; and cousin, Roger Pense.

Surviving are his mother, Becky (Alex) (nee Hanratty) Johnson Pranaitis of Edwardsville, IL; his sister, Kelly (Steve Shylkofski) Johnson of Livingston, IL; aunts and uncles, Veronica (Wilbur) Hock, Gary (Helen) Johnson, Linda Pense, Sandy (Paul) Homann, Jeff (Sue) Hanratty and John Hanratty; many cousins and friends.

Service will start at 11 am on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL. Interment will be in Bartlett Cemetery, Edwardsville, IL.
