Tully Charles Parker, 79, of Troy, IL, born March 26, 1947, in Kilgore, TX and passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.

Tully graduated from LeTourneau University, Longview, TX with a double major in Electrical and Welding Engineering. He retired from Miller Electric Manufacturing after 35 years of service. He was a member and board member of the American Welding Society. He also taught welding classes at SWIC and Lewis and Clark Colleges. Tully welcomed any opportunity to aid his kids and grandchildren. He helped remodel an old house, personalize a barbecue grill, build bat dwellings, babysit pets, and more. Tully enjoyed sharing a meal with friends and reading sci-fi/fantasy in his spare time. He loved his family and cherished the days they spent together.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tully A. Parker Jr. and Yaba Mae (nee Sherman) Parker King; and his sisters, Audie Durand and Barbara Case.

Surviving are his wife, Sharon (nee Frank) Parker; his children, Tully (Olivia) Parker of Okawville, IL and Stephanie (Ken) Graham of Freeburg, IL; grandchildren, Tully A. and Addee Parker and Sophia and Cade Graham; his brother Steve (Roxanne) Parker of San Antonio, TX; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
