Todd James Bruns, 21 of Collinsville,IL.,born January 21, 1981in Maryville, IL.died Sunday, September 29, 2002 at Eastern University, Charleston, IL.

Mr. Bruns lived in the Troy/Collinsville area his entire life. He was a gratuate of Triad High School and a student at Eastern University. He was a member of Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Maryville, IL.He was extremely active in soccer. He helped guide and monitor sports during the summer at the Tri Township park. He attended and graduated from St. Peter and Paul Catholic Elementary School in Collinsville, IL.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James Bruns, and his maternal grandparents, Edward and Loretta Schneider.

Surviving are his parents, Jon T. and Patricia nee Schneider,Bruns of Collinsville,IL.;a brother, Jay E. Bruns of Collinsville,IL.; a sister, Kelly A. Bruns of St. Louis, Mo;his paternal grandmother,Ruth P. Bruns of Pinckneyville,IL.; and two aunts and two uncles, Mary Simon of Edwardsville,IL.,Cathu and Brad Hill of Glen Carbon,IL.,and Denny Bruns of Popular Bluff,Mo.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002 at Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in MaryvilleIL.,with the Reverend Jeffrey Holtman officiating.Interment will be in Valhalla Garden of Memories,Belleville,IL.
