Obituary
Timothy "Tim" Moore, 59, of Troy, Ill., born Feb. 7, 1952, in San Diego, Calif., died Saturday, July 16, 2011, at Highland Health Care Center, Highland, Ill.
Mr. Moore retired from the Triad School District, where he worked in the custodial services. Tim never met a stranger and was a devoted friend. He loved and cared for his family and his dog, Jake. Tim loved Cardinals baseball, wood working, music, his band, playing guitar and his latest passion was learning to play the banjo. Tim was a "Scholar Athlete" from Granite City High School, class of 1970.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Dorothy, nee Wiggins, Moore.
Surviving are his wife, Kathleen "Kathy," nee McDonald, Moore of Troy, Ill.; brothers, George (Barb) Moore of Texas, Terry (Susie) Moore of Virginia, and Richard (Mary Ellen) Moore of Illinois; brothers-in-law, Mike (Vickie) McDonald of Troy, Ill., and Kevin (Lisa Hedgecoth) McDonald of Troy, Ill.; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society.
Services will be planned for a later date.
