Obituary
Thomas A. Rose Sr., 54, 0f Troy, Ill., born July 8, 1954, in Highland, Ill., died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.
Mr. Rose worked in manufacturing and spent most of his life in the Troy area. He was a member of the Eagles and Friedens United Church of Christ of Troy, Ill.
Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Harold Dale Rose Sr.
Surviving are his mother, Rosemary Rose of Troy, Ill.; son, Tommy (Betsy) Rose of Greenville, Ill.; brothers, Michael Rose of Highland, Ill., and Harold Dale (Diane) Rose Jr., of St. Jacob, Ill.; grandchildren, Eden Smith and Evan Rose.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Friends may call from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, at Friedens United Church of Christ in Troy, Ill.
Funeral Service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, at the church with the Rev. Scott Hawker officiating. Mr. Rose's wishes were to be cremated.
