Thomas M. Prange, 76, of St. Jacob, Ill., born July 23,1940 in Litchfield, Ill., passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 at his home in St. Jacob, Ill.

Tom was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He retired with over 50 years of service from the State Bank of St. Jacob where he served as President and is currently still serving as Chairman of the Board. He was a member of St. Jacob United Church of Christ, St. Jacob, Ill. Tom was a member of the American Legion Post 665 St. Jacob, past treasurer of Southwestern Auto Racing Assn. and Charter member of the St. Jacob Lions Club.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton H. and Vada Prange, nee Eardley; brothers-in-law, Waldo J. Merkle and Junior F. Roniger; and sister-in-law, Lois M. Brazeau.

Surviving are his wife, Carol Prange, nee Roniger, of St. Jacob, Ill., whom he married Nov. 28, 1964 in Trenton, Ill.; sons, Steven T. (Katherine) Prange, Scott L. (Ashley) Prange and David A.(Lorrie Wade) Prange all of Highland, Ill.; grandchildren, Samual Prange, Benjamin Prange, Kennedy Prange, Ryan Skrobul and Grant Prange; and his sister, Judith K. Merkle of Highland. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017 at St. Jacob United Church of Christ with Rev. Douglas Seagle officiating. Burial in Keystone Cemetery, St. Jacob, Ill.
