Thomas "Tom" Neal Haggard Jr., 30, of Troy, Ill., born May 8, 1981, in Highland, Ill., died Saturday Sept. 17, 2011, in Troy, Ill.
Thomas was a member of Troy United Methodist Church, Troy, Ill. He enjoyed cooking, fishing and spending time with his family and friends, and especially the time he spent with his son as they played video games.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, W. Howard and G. Maxine Carson Sr.
Surviving are his mother, Cheryl, nee Carson, (John) Voegele of Highland, Ill.; his father, Thomas Neal Haggard Sr. of Fairview Heights, Ill.; a son, Braydon Haggard of Highland, Ill.; a sister, Mindy (Darren) Hediger of Grantfork, Ill.; a brother, Jason Voegele of Highland, Ill.; grandparents, Neal and Dorothy Haggard of Troy, Ill., and Orville and Dottie Voegele of Highland, Ill.; many aunts, uncles, a niece, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorials may be made to Troy United Methodist Church.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 am Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011, at Laughlin~Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 21, 2011, with the Rev. Dennis Price officiating.
