Thomas R. McDonald, 87, of Troy, Ill., born February 3, 1930 in Clark Range, Tenn., passed away July 22, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Tom was a member of the Silver Creek Bible Fellowship in Troy, Ill. He was a member of the Brick Layers Union Local 8. Tom loved and was loved by his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barlow and Elizabeth, nee Sells, McDonald; brothers, Hershel, Herman, Edgar and John McDonald, McCoy and Doyle Duvall; and sisters, Irene McDonald and Lois Duvall.

Surviving are his wife, Joann E., nee Malone, McDonald of Troy, Ill.; children, Jeff (Gina) McDonald of Pocahontas, Ill., Jodie (Bryan) Fanning of Troy, Ill., Richard, Tony and Thomas McDonald of Seals Beach, Calif.; grandchildren, Richard McDonald Jr., Adam (Serena) McDonald, Ben McDonald, Chris Fanning, Dan Fanning and Eryn Fanning; our dear uncle, cousin and friend.
