July 17, 2010 saw the passing of Thelma "Sonni" Rodenborn, nee Henderson. Daughter of John and Eleanor Henderson, sister of Marsha, Grace and Arnold. Beloved mother of Brian, Lori (Glenn) Brown, Bart (Rita), Brent (Kathleen), Brad (Rosemary), Bruce (Chris Garza), Blair, and Deon (James) Lee.

She took great pride and was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren, April, Michelle, Brandon, Bianca, Sonia, Brian, and Erin.

She graduated from the University of Kansas. She served as a Cub Scout and Girl Scout leader, Room Mother, and PTA President. Her kindness, gentle spirit, and generosity will live forever through her family.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Socity.

A Celebration of Life will be held August 21, 2010 starting at 2 p.m. in the home of Brent and Kathleen Rodenborn, Marine, Illinois.
