Mrs. Susan M. Tessaro, age 55 years, born March 7, 1950 in Highland, Illinois, died December 17, 2005 at her residence.

Mrs. Tessaro lived in Troy her entire life. She was a baker for Christian Wolf Bakery, a member of the American Humane Society, and a member of St. Jerome's Catholic Church. Sue Tessaro was extremely courageous in her fight against her cancer.

Mrs. Tessaro is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Dellora (nee: Allen) Lesicko and a step-daughter, Tina (nee: Tessaro) Riebold.

Mrs. Tessaro is survived by her husband, Larry Tessaro of Troy, Illinois whom she married February 25, 1972, one daughter, Mrs. Tracie (Rich) Armbruster of Hardin, Illinois, one brother James (Sheila) Lesicko of Glen Carbon, Illinois, three sisters, Mrs. Donna (Rich) Faigle of Collinsville, Illinois, Miss Ann Talbert of Edwardsville, Illinois, Mrs. Cathy (Larry) Talbert of Troy, Illinois three grandchildren, Gunner Armbruster, Eric Riebold, and Amy and, one sister-in-law, Rose Ann Bergbrader of Granite City, Illinois, her father-in-law, Mike and Lorene Tessaro of Maryville, Illinois, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials are to be made to BJC of Alton Hospice.

VISITATION: Friends may call at the Laughlin Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, December 19, 2005, and from 9:00 A.M. to time of service on Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at St. Jerome Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 20, 2005 at St. Jerome Catholic Church with Reverend Monsignor Virgil Mank V.F. officiating. Interment will be at St. Jerome Catholic Cemetery, Troy, Illinois.
