Steven Michael Gula, age 75, of Wetumpka, AL, formerly of Troy, IL, born Friday, July 7, 1944 in Cleveland, OH and passed away on Friday, March 6, 2020 at his home in Wetumpka, AL.

Steven was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, IL. He enjoyed all kinds of sporting activities, coaching and or watching. He most of all enjoyed and loved his family and the time he was able to spend with them.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anne (nee Bouman) Gula; and his parents, Frank and Barbara (nee Lancarick) Gula.

Surviving are his wife, Catherine "Cat" Gula of Wetumpka, AL; his sons, Steven M. (Amy) Gula II of Houston, TX, Dennis (Christy) Gula, of Louisville, KY, Timothy (Kendra) Gula of Fairview Heights, IL, John (Jackie) Gula of Marine, IL and Christopher (Cathy) Gula of Troy, IL; grandchildren, Megan Gula, Jamee Gula, Logan Gula, Katie Gula, Samantha Gula, Nick Gula, Ethan Gula, Hayden Gula, Rachaell Scott, Gavin Scott, Andrew Gula, Meagan Simmons, Wyatt Gula; one great-granddaughter, Holly Gula.

Funeral Mass will be said at 10 am Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at St. Jerome Catholic church, Troy, IL. Interment in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Edwardsville, IL.
