Obituary
Mrs. Shirley A. Wilkinson age 71, of Troy, Illinois, born October 18, 1935 in Edwardsville, Illinois, passed away November 12, 2006 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Illinois.
Mrs. Wilkinson lived in the Troy area most of her life. She was of the Methodist Faith. Mrs. Wilkinson was a member of Edwardsville V.F.W. She was employed at Shop-N-Save as a Deli-Coordinator. Working was her hobby. She loved to play Bingo, but her life was devoted to loving her grandchildren.
Mrs. Wilkinson is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Lillian (nee: Aaron) Wilkinson, and her brothers Charles Robert Wilkinson and Eugene Wilkinson.
Mrs. Wilkinson is survived by her daughter Lillian "Jo" Wilkinson of Troy, Illinois, her brothers Richard (Roseann) Wilkinson of Edwardsville, Illinois and David Wilkinson of Kentucky, her sister Mrs. Margaret Oliver of Hillsboro, Illinois, her grandchildren Sarah (Brandon) Hueter of Troy, Illinois and her great-grandchild Callista Hueter.
VISITATION HOURS: Friends may call at the Laughlin Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M. to 6:30 P.M. on Thursday, November 16, 2006.
FUNERAL SERVICE will be at 6:30 P.M. on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at the Funeral Home "Chapel" with Brother Matt Henson officiating. Cremation is to be held with burial at a later date.
Memorials are to be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or to The Family of Mrs. Willkinson.
