Shirley M. Walters, 87, of Troy, IL, born June 28, 1930 in Belleville, IL passed away June 26, 2018 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL
Shirley attended St. Jerome Catholic Church. She loved her family and enjoyed when she was able to spend any time with them.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Conrad Amos Jr.; children, Danny Amos and Gloria Dalton; brother Leo Dooley.
Shirley is survived by her children, Barbara (Michael) Phillips of Belleville, IL, David (Becky) Amos of Castro Valley, CA and Gary Amos of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Joshua (Margie) Amos, Patrick, Mathew and Michael Amos, Courtney (Chuck) Kouchnerkavich, Jana Amos and Danny Amos Jr., Julie (Dan) Anderson, Laura (John) Thoman, Stephanie (Jason) Thomas and Angela (James) Jones; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Mike Dooley of Tool, TX.

Memorial mass will be said 10 am on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, IL with Fr. Kevin Laughrey officiating, and burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
