Sharon Kay Keeton, 78, of Granite City, IL, was born February 1, 1948 and passed away peacefully surrounded by family at her Troy, IL senior living home on Monday, June 8, 2026.

Sharon was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed watching game shows and gardening. She once bowled, played bingo, used to be a mean pinochle player and worked for more than 20 years at Schnucks Market in Granite City in various roles.

Nana was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 50 years, Terry Dee Keeton who passed away in 2018. Also preceding are her parents, Rudolph and Elizabeth (nee Robinson) Sucich; and her only brother and sister-in-law, Randolph “Randy” (Fay) Sucich. She was the last surviving member of her nuclear family.

Surviving is her only daughter, Nikole Keeton (Steve) Schmith; her only grandson, Carter Keeton Schmith; and many friends.
