Obituary
Shannon Marie Gaddis, 17, of Troy, Illinois passed away at her residence on Wednesday, January 12, 2011. Shannon was born July 27, 1993 in McHenry, Illinois.
Shannon was a senior at Triad High School in Troy, Illinois. She was described as a very caring person always watching out for others. Shannon loved animals always looking out for their safety.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Leslie J. and Mae E. (nee Smith) Gaddis.
Shannon is survived by her parents, Rick J. and Deborah (nee (Barner) Gaddis of Troy, IL.; grandparents, Nancy Aretino (Joe) of Jesup, GA. and C. Alfred Barner of Kansas City, MO.; aunt, Linda Clark (Steve) of Wonder Lake, IL,; uncles, Robert Gaddis (Cheryl) of Crystal Lake, IL., Ronald Barner (Amy) of Kansas City, MO., and Jeffrey Barner of Warrensberg, MO, and cousins.
Memorials to the Gaddis Family would be appreciated.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 16, 2011 from 5 to 8 pm and Monday, January 17, 2011 from 10 to 11 am at Laughlin - Richeson Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 17, 2011 at 11 am at the funeral home with Steve Clark officiating.
Interment will be in Friedens Cemetery.
