Serean Kathryn "Ann" Perryman, 91, of Belleville, Ill., born January 8, 1926 in Belleville, Ill., passed away Monday, April 17, 2017 at Four Fountains Nursing Home, Belleville, Ill.

Ann was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church, Belleville, Ill. She taught English for over 40 years at Sumner High School, St. Louis, Mo., she also worked for 20 plus years as a switch board operator at Centreville-Touchette Hospital.  Ann was a graduate of the class of 1942 from Notre Dame High in Belleville and received her masters degree from SIUE in 1964. She was a member of St. Louis Teachers Union, Mothers Club, St. Ann sodality and was a charter member of the St. Clair County Quarter Horse Association.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Serene, nee Seeley, Brenner; brother, Fred Brenner; son-in-law, Eugene Finke.

Surviving are her children, William (Barb) Perryman of Belleville, Ill., Fred (Janet) Perryman of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisc., Constance "Connie" (Richard) Clutter of Elpaso, Texas, and Bernadette "Bernie" (Keith Ulrich) Perryman of Wilton, Minn.; grandchildren, Margie (Tim) Poe, Kathy (Paul) Winn, Meredith (Anthony) Legree and Brenner (Berit A. Mundson) Perryman; great-grandchildren, Isaac and Levi Winn, TJ and Sarah Poe, Olive and Ruth Perryman and John Lagree.

Friends may visit from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2017 at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery Chapel, Belleville, Ill.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2017 at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery with Rev. Charles West officiating.
