Mr. Sam Rebello, age 74 years of Troy, Illinois, born October 22, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri, died October 3, 2005 at St. Mary's Health Center.
Mr. Rebello lived in the Troy area for 23 years. He was retired as a Wine and Buyer Consultant for Corral Liquor in Fairview Heights, Illinois. Mr. Rebello was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in O'Fallon, Illinois, and a member of the Troy Knights of Columbus, third degree.
Mr. Rebello is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Peterina (nee: Spatfora) Rebello, and three brothers, Phillip, Vito, and John Rebello.
Mr. Rebello is survived by his wife, Rose (nee: Madura) Rebello whom he married May 28, 1982, one step-son, Kenneth (Sherry) Sullivan of Springfield, Illinois, one step-daughter, Mrs. Marilyn (Rick) Zobrist of Aviston, Illinois, four sisters, Mrs. Virginia (Fred) Kesselring of Texas, Mrs. Toni (Dick) Rafferty of Riverview, Missouri, Mrs. Grace (Larry) Clement of Riverview, Missouri, and Sister Maria Gorretti of the Pink Sisters, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
VISITATION: Friends may call from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. on Thursday, October 6, 2005 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in O'Fallon, Illinois. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 A.M. on Friday, October 7, 2005 from St. Nicholas Catholic Church in O'Fallon, Illinois with Msgr.William Hitpas officiating. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in Lebanon, Illinois. Memorials are to be made to the Little Sisters of the Poor and/or St. Vincent DePaul of St. Nicholas Catholic Church.
