Ryan M. Junker 27, of St. Jacob, IL, born May 19, 1985, in Maryville, IL, died suddenly on Sunday, July 29, 2012, in St. Jacob, IL.

Ryan worked for Cross Road Motors in Caseyville, IL. He was a former Trustee for the Village of St. Jacob, IL, and was a Volunteer Fireman for the Village of St. Jacob, member of St. Jacob/Marine Jaycees, BNI and the Helvetia Sharp Shooters. He was a 2003 graduate of Highland High School.


Surviving Ryan are his son Mason Junker-Schrumpf of St. Jacob, IL., parents, Mark J. and Carol L. (nee Michael) Junker of Highland, IL.; brother, Michael (Megan) Junker of Highland, IL.; niece Mikaela Junker,; grandparents, Larry and Frances Michael of Highland, IL, and Agnes and Gerald Kampwerth of Highland, IL,; special friend and mother of Mason, Michelle Schrumpf of Highland, IL,; he is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

Memorials may be made to his son Mason's scholarship fund and will be accepted at the funeral home.

Friends may call from 3 to 8 pm Thursday, August 2, 2012, at Aebischer~Richeson Funeral Home in St. Jacob, IL. Friends may also call from 10 to 11 am Friday, August 3, 2012 at St. Jacob United Church of Christ in St. Jacob, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday, August 3, 2012, at the church with the Rev. Gary Kniepkamp officiating. Interment will be in Keystone Cemetery, St. Jacob, IL
