Ruth Ann Oller, 77, of Troy, IL, born Feb. 4, 1937, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.

Ruth Ann attended Apostolic Tabernacle, Edwardsville, IL, she loved her church, quilting, crocheting, embroidery, cooking and especially baking, and she loved throwing snow balls.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Eva, (nee Green) Steele; brother, Daniel Steele and sister; Pauline Gamboa.

Surviving are her children, Deborah (Carl) Shiverdeck of Waterloo, IL, Timothy (Sherri) Oller of Cotton Valley, LA, Jonathon (Julia) Oller of Belleville, IL, Mark (Valerie) Oller of Highland, IL, Dana (Robert) McMahan of Troy, IL and Sheila (Andrew) Rogers of Cuba, MO.; 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Donald Steele of Columbia, IL; sisters Norma Stanek of Troy, IL and Virginia Reinacher of Albuquerque, NM.

Friends may call 5 to 8 pm on Sunday, March 16, 2014, and from 10 to 11 am on Monday, March 17, 2014 at Richeson Funeral Home in Troy, IL.

Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Monday, March 17, 2014, at the Richeson Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Williams and Bishop Howard Bradshaw officiating. Interment in Valhalla Gardens, Belleville, IL.
