Obituary
William "Russ" Gammon, age 81, of Troy, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2003 at his home. He married Constance LaFonte in Austin, Texas on November 26, 1942. She survives. Russ retired from Illinois Central Gulf Railroad in 1986.
He is survived by 2 sons: William (Julie) Gammon, Jr. and Charles Gammon, all of Colinsville; and 1 daughter Ms. Betty Ann Gammon of Troy; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services: Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at 11:00 am with Bro. Jim Wiens of Bethel Baptist Church officiating.
Memorials: Metro East Humane Society or American Cancer Society
