Runell Guthrie, 87, Troy, Ill., born January 24, 1930 in Pitt Co., N.C., passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017 in Garden View Care Center, Chesterfield, Mo.

Runell was very active member of Collinsville Church of Christ, Troy, Ill. She loved reading and going to the library. She had a loving gentle soul and always had a smile for everyone. Most of all she enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Carl W. Guthrie; parents, Charlie H. and Mamie, nee Sutter, Brock; Brothers, David and Ray Lee Brock; sister Lossie Edward.

Surviving are her sons, Lee (Carol) Guthrie of Port St. Lucie, Fla. and Gary Guthrie of Caseyville, Ill.; grandchildren, Julie (Leo) Guthrie Breault, Karen Guthrie, Tammi (Joe) Guthrie Kenton and Amanda (Andrew) Guthrie; great-grandchildren, Leo Breault III, Lily Breault and Emory Kenton; daughter-in-law, Pamela Guthrie; sister, Alice Sutton; dear aunt; as well as cousins and friends.
