Obituary
Rosie Mary Sharp, nee Fischer, age 91 of Troy, IL. died May 20, 2010 at the Highland Health Care, Highland, IL. Mrs. Sharp was born February 19, 1919 in Highland, IL. and was a homemaker.
She was peceeded in death by her first husband, Walter Straub and second husband, John J. Sharp; parents Charles and Albertina, nee Bornhauser, Fischer; brothers, Harold, Robert, Ralph, Charles and James Fischer; sisters, Florence Zobrist and Edna Neutzling.
Rosie is survived by her sons, Wayne (Dian) Straub of O'Fallon, MO. and Michael (Lynn) Straub of Troy, IL.; grandchildren, Brent, Jason, Jennifer and Chris Straub; great-grandchildren, Ben, Kelsey, Dawson, Dylan, Sophia and Drew Straub.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
Visitation will be Friday, May 21, 2010 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, May 21, 2010 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL.
The funeral service will be Saturday, May 22, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL. with the Rev. Dennis Price officiating. Burial will be in Friedens Cemetery, Troy, Illinois.
