Rosalie H. Strong, 94, of Troy, IL, born Saturday, October 15, 1927 in Pearisburg, VA and passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022 in Edwardsville, IL.

Rosalie was a loving mom, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.  She enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton J. Strong whom she married October 6, 1946 at the Methodist Church in Collinsville, IL and he passed away April 19, 2008; a son, Paul Strong Jr.; her parents, Clarence and Winnie M. (nee Piller) Hale; her brother, George Hale; two great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Surviving are her children, Linda Simpkins of Granite City, IL, Carol (Don) Whiteside of Godfrey, IL; daughter-in-law, Janet Strong of Mildstadt, IL; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; and many friends.
