Ronald E. Swain, 67, of Troy, IL, born Tuesday, November 29, 1955 in East St. Louis, IL and passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Anderson hospital, Maryville, IL.

Ron enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren, camping and  showing his cooking skills.  He was always ready to watch nascar and anything racing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene H. and Billie J. (nee Rissler) Swain.

Surviving are his wife, Janie (nee Bolbach) Swain whom he married September 26, 1975; his children, Kyle (Barbara) Swain of Fairview Heights, IL and Tracy (Jason) Countryman of Troy, IL; his grandchildren, Raine Countryman, Kayli Montgomery, Logan Countryman and Clara Swain; his brother, Richard (Kathleen) Swain of Fairview Heights, IL; and his aunt, Marilyn Niebel; many friends.
