Rodney Lynn Washam, 59, of Troy, Ill., born Nov. 12, 1953, in Chicago, Ill., died Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.
Rodney was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, Ill. He retired from the United States Airforce after 26 years of service and was serving with the U.S. Customs and Border Protection. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 9266 Troy, Ill., and a graduate of SIUC. He loved riding his motorcycle and horses, enjoyed fishing but most of all he loved the time he spent with his family.
Surviving are his wife, Insuk, nee Hwang, Washam of Troy, Ill.; children, Sandy (Paris) Stout of Holt, Mo., Diana (Dexter) Smith of Kearney, Mo., Elizabeth Washam of Troy, Ill., Kelly Washam of Pittsburgh, Pa., Bailey Washam of Troy, Ill., and Jason Washam of Troy, Ill.; grandchildren, Dylan, Katie and Darren Eckersly, RaDana, Tre' and Vanessa Smith; father, Victor E. Washam of Salisbury, Mo.; mother, Geraldine, nee Still, Washam of Kearney, Mo.; and brothers, Donald Washam of Kearney, Mo., Jerry (Pete) Washam of Holt, Mo., and Danny (Paula) Washam of Moberly, Mo.
Memorials may be made to St. John the Baptist Cemetery Fund.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, Ill., with Father Pat Jakel officiating. Burial will be at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Black Jack, Ill.
