Obituary

Robert Harold "Bob" Moore, 74, of Glen Carbon, Ill., born Sept. 26, 1937, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Bob served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a journeyman carpenter with Local 295 since 1963. He started Construction Concepts Corp. in 1978, founded RTR Development, and developed Seasons Village subdivision in 2008 which was his dream unfinished. Bob loved his wife, children and grandchildren unconditionally. His daughters-in-law held a very special place in his heart.

He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Michael Moore; parents, Edwin and Bertha, nee Riddle, Moore; and brothers, Lamar, Paul and Gene Moore.

Surviving are his wife, Patsy "Patty", nee Wilkinson, Moore whom he married on Dec. 10, 1961, in Decatur, Ill.; his sons, Todd (Sheryl) Moore of Troy, Ill., and Rob (Amy) Moore of Eldon, Mo.; grandchildren, Curtis Moore, Amber Moore and Ryan Moore; and his brother, Edwin Moore of Lake Ozark, Mo.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Troy, Ill.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at the funeral home with Tom Elliott officiating.
