Robert Lee Fulkerson Jr. 64, of St. Jacob, IL, born, October 19, 1954 in East St. Louis, IL, passed away suddenly Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.

Robert was a member of Marine United Church of Christ, Marine, IL. He worked at Boeing with over 41 years of service. He was a former police officer, Police Commissioner and Village Trustee in Marine. Robert was a family man, ready and willing to help anyone in need, loved doing projects for his kids. He was an avid Cardinals fan and loved studying WWII history. Holidays were always fun, but Christmas was his favorite.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, L. Ike Chasteen; grandparents, Samuel and Doris Fulkerson and Arthur and Ethel Jones.

Surviving are his wife, Donna (nee Chasteen) Fulkerson of St. Jacob, IL; children, Cheri L. (Andrew) Prusa of Highland, IL, Robert L. (Heather) Fulkerson III of Marine, IL and Kristyn M. (Michael) Cantu of St. Jacob, IL; grandchildren, Jayda, Baylee, Layla and Brayden Fulkerson, Peyton, Paige and Lacey Cantu; parents, Robert L. Sr. and Barbara (nee Jones) Fulkerson of Troy, IL; brother, James (Rosemary) Fulkerson of Troy, IL; mother-in-law, Mary E. Chasteen of Troy, IL; brother-in-law, Steven (Sue) Chasteen and Bryan (Hilary) Chasteen both of Highland, IL; nieces and nephews, Michelle (Chris), Jaime (Jon), Kaylee, Collin, Paige, Jackson, Logan, Addison, Owen, Kennedy and Hadley; fur babies, O'Malley, Murphy, Lola, Jake, Bandit; Cousin and friend to many.
