Robert "Bob" Eldridge, 59, of Staunton, Ill., born July 18, 1957 in Lima, Ohio, passed away at his home in Staunton, on Tuesday, May 10, 2017 surrounded by his family.

Bob served his country during the Vietnam era in the United States Marine Corp. He was a member of Carpenter Local 377 for 13 years. He was considered a master carpenter and enjoyed carpentry projects large and small. Bob was studious student of the word of God. He loved his family and was especially proud of his two sons and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Eldridge and Helen and stepfather, Lewis, nee Petrovich, Franklin; brother, Larry Eldridge; and brother-in-law, Howard Lee Bradshaw.

Surviving are his wife, Vickie Bradshaw, whom he married  October 22, 1976; sons, Robert Eldridge of Charlottesville, Va. and Jake Eldridge of Troy, Ill.; grandchildren, Joshua, Josalynn and Samuel Eldridge; sister, Becky (Roc) Foster of Wapakoneta, Ohio; brothers, Clifford (Kathy) Eldridge of Clinton, Miss., Raymond (Jennifer) Eldridge of Lima, Ohio, and Howard (Brenda) Eldridge of Cincinnati, Ohio;  father and mother-in-law, Bishop Howard and Anna, nee Zellers, Bradshaw of St. Jacob, Ill.; sister-in-laws, Deborah (Larry) Rowe of Troy, Ill., Cindy (Paul) Thompson of St. Jacob, Ill., and Connie Bradshaw of St. Jacob, Ill.; brother-in-law, Brian (Lori) Bradshaw of Troy, Ill.
