Robert Michael Bostrom, 55, of Marine, Ill., born April 7, 1958, at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at his home.
Robert was a member, sometimes helping with services, at Calvary Pentecostal Church, Collinsville, Ill., and Apostolic Revival Church, Highland, Ill. He retired from Cooper B Line/ Eaton Co. after 34 years of dedicated service. He loved his family and his church family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Peter Bostrom.
Surviving are his wife, Carmen, nee Custer, Bostrom of Marine, Ill.; daughter, April C. (Lee) Hope of St. Charles, Ill.; stepchildren, Brian Plog of Highland, Ill., and Christine (Demitrius) Prayer of Cahokia, Ill.; his mother, Elvera F., nee Lewis, Bostrom of Troy, Ill.; grandchildren, Hunter and Hannah Hope, Briana Plog, Demontay and Destiny Prayer; brother, Peter A. Bostrom of Troy, Ill.; sisters, Mary Kay (Jeff) Lype of Shiloh, Ill., and Linda (Bob) Hewitt of Marine, Ill.; brother-in-law, Duane (Diane) Custer of Marine, Ill.; sister-in-law, Carol Wisdom of Westminster, Colo.; nieces and nephews, Kyle and Steve Hewitt, Dan and Tom (Kate) Lype, Megan (Brandon) Hartin and Chelsea Custer; and great-nephew, Baylen Hartin.
