IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert D.
"Bob" Dalluge
November 30, 1971 – February 10, 2026
Robert D. "Bob" Dalluge 54, of Highland, IL, born Tuesday, November 30, 1971, in Decatur, IL and passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at St. Louis University Medical Center, St. Louis, MO.
Bob was a man who felt most at home outdoors - whether he was casting a line, grilling for a backyard barbecue or spending time near the water. He found joy in life's simple moments. Music was always part of his world – turned up loud, shared with friends, and often the backdrop to laughter and storytelling. He had a way of bringing people together; wherever Bob was, warmth, humor and a good time were never far behind.
He was a loyal friend and partner and above all, he loved his children. They were his greatest pride. He loved them deeply and fiercely and nothing meant more to him than being there for them in whatever way he could.
Bob was also a proud fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. Game days were serious business, filled with commentary and unwavering loyalty. Win or lose, he stood by his team just as faithfully as he stood by the people he loved.
Though his life held both joy and struggle, Bob's big heart and generous spirit never left him. He will be remembered for his laughter, his stories, and the way he made people feel welcome and valued. He will be deeply missed and forever carried in the hearts of those who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father, John "Doug" Dalluge; stepfather, Ronald Brown; and his sister and brother-in-law, Chana and Thomas "Chief" Estabrook.
Surviving is his wife, Beth Dalluge; his children, Daniel (Kasie Eaker) Beatty of Bethalto, IL, John Dalluge of Collinsville, IL, Anna Dalluge of Collinsville, IL, Olivia Marshall of Daytona Beach, FL and Justine Marshall of Hamel, IL; grandchildren, Bentley, Brysen, Lincoln and Jahseh; his mother, Terrie (nee Price) Brown of St. Jacob, IL; his brother, Danny (Robin Schiller) Sullivan of Belleville, IL; sisters, Tracy (David) May of Highland, IL and Rhonda (Wayne) Elmore of Fairview Heights, IL; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special thanks to his niece Krystal Spencer, for her devoted care in recent years.
