Richard O. Thomas, 81, of Collinsville, IL, born Saturday, June 5, 1943, in Alton, IL and passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, in Edwardsville, IL.

Richard served his country in United States Navy during the Vietnam conflict, He attended the Lutheran Church and enjoyed his family time.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford O and Marcella M. (nee Clayton) Thomas.

Surviving is his wife, Susan (nee Haney) Dutton; his daughter, Wendi (John) Bettorf of Troy, IL; grandchildren, Tiffany Frost, Demarco Dutton, Ava Bettorf; and his niece, Jane Lewis of Alton, IL.
