Retired Air Force Master Sergeant, Richard M. Dunlap, 76, of Troy, Ill., born August 22, 1941, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Rosewood Care Center, Edwardsville, Ill.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin E. and Adeline W., nee Foegel, Dunlap.

Surviving are his wife, Sara E., nee Clark, Dunlap, whom he married on January 14, 1967 in Charleston, S.C.; sons, Richard P. Dunlap and Brandon Dunlap both of Troy, Ill.; daughters, Rachel Dunlap of Belleville, Ill., Chirstine Johnson of Troy, Ill., and Catrina (David) Bartholomy of Caseyville, Ill.; grandchildren, Nicholas (Courtney) Macdonald, Devon Dunlap-Huie, Shawnee Johnson, Kylee Carey, Ashtin Dunlap, Christopher Carey, Jessica Dunlap, Isabell Dunlap, Brandi Bartholomy and Nathaniel Dunlap.

Funeral procession will leave at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2017 from Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill., for a 2 p.m. graveside service with full military honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
