Obituary
Raymond "Pepsi" W. Schuessler, 57,of Troy, IL. born June 14, 1949, in Belleville, IL. died Friday, January 12, 2007,at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.
Mr. Schuessler was a salesman for National Peace Officers Press, Troy, IL. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and past alderman of the City of Troy, IL. and a past police commissioner of Troy, IL. Raymond was an honorary Illinois Sheriff Association Deputy and a Mason.
He was preceded in death by his father, William G. Schuessler; and a half brother, Roland Kniser.
Surviving are his mother, Helen, nee Weaver, Schuessler of Troy, IL.; his step-sons, Robert McNeill of Fairview Heights,IL.,Michael (Holly) McNeil of Magnolia, Texas, anad Jeffrey (Gloria) McNeil of BIshop, Ga.;his step-daughters,Annette (Kevin) Roach of Metamora, Michigan, and Lori McNeil of Houston, Texas; his god child, Jamie Ray Schuessler of St. Jacob,IL.;two brothers, William S. Schuessler of Syarcuse, N.Y.,and Russell E. (Judy)"Sam") Schuessler of Troy, IL.;two sisters, Donna J. (Harry) Pelate of Caseyville,IL. and Gertie (Adolph) Kaufman of Granite City, IL. and a host of nieces,nephews and great-nieces and great-neephews.
VISITATION: Friends may call at the Laughlin Funeral Home from 3 P.M. to 9 P.M. on Monday, January 15,2007.
FUNERAL: Funeral Service will be held at 10 A.M. on Tuesday,January 16, 2007 at Laughlin Funeral Home "Chapel",Troy, IL. with the Reverend Dennis Price officiating.
INTERMENT: will be in Valley View Cemetery, Edwardsville, IL.
