Raymond W. Rabbitt, 76, of Lebanon, Ill., born April 1, 1940, in Washington, D.C., died Thursday, March 9, 2017, at St. Mary's Health Center, St. Louis, Mo.

Raymond was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, Ill. He retired from Walmart in 2003 as a district manager. He enjoyed his model trains, fishing, gardening and his pup, Crista. He loved his family and the time he spent with them.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Catherine, nee Robe, Rabbitt.

Surviving are his wife, Luella, nee Booth, Rabbitt; daughters, Betty A. Dashley of Lebanon, Ill., and Kelly M. (Jim) Crump of Fairview Heights, Ill; granddaughter, Deanna N. (Ricky Scherby) Dashley; great-granddaughters, Madalyn Dashley and Layla Scherby; a brother, Edward (Carol) Rabbitt of Wentzville, Mo.; and sister, Catherine (Tony) Burlingame of Detroit, Mich.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, Ill., with Fr. Alan Hunter and Rev. Monsignor James A. Blazine officiating.
