Obituary
Raymond L. Philippe, 82 of Troy, Illinois, born December 9, 1925 in Livingston, Illinois, died April 25, 2008 at the Highland Health Care Center, Highland, Illinois.
Mr. Philippe loved to go fishing and enjoyed his time spent at My Brothers Place in Troy.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Amelia (nee Wolbert) Philippe, wife Anna Gertrude (nee Davis) Philippe and brother Arthur R. Philippe.
Surviving are his two sisters; Virginia Schuette of Staunton, Illinois and Judith (Richard) Rinkel of Huntsville, Alabama and friends Joyce Virgin and Ann Cope.
Memorials may be made to the VFW Post 976, Troy, Illinois in memory of Raymond Philippe.
Funeral services will be held Monday April 28, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the Laughlin Funeral Home with Rev. Charles West officiating.
Graveside services, with full military honors, will take place Monday April 28, 11:30 a.m. at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks, Missouri.
